
Eagles Soar in Moberly
(Moberly, Mo) - Faith women's basketball ran away with the road win on Friday.
The Eagles completed the regular season sweep over CCCB with a full team effort.
The teams played a close first half, trading blows and keeping the score close for the first 17 minutes of the game until the Eagles were able to find separation. Going on a 12-4 run in the final 2 minutes of the half, Faith took the 44-38 lead into halftime. The third quarter was all Eagles as Faith came out of the break on fire, forcing 12 turnovers and scoring 30 points to the Saints 14. The Eagles kept the momentum rolling and left Moberly with the 79-90 victory over the Saints.
Katie Costello led the Eagles with 23 points and a career high 9 assists, Miriam Beenken added 22 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds. The Eagles dished out a season high 30 assists on 39 made shots.
