Women's Basketball Takes Down the Sabercats

The Eagles came out firing against Maranatha, putting up a season high 34 first quarter points, while holding the opposition to just 5 first frame points to set the tone for the game. Faith kept their pace and forced the Sabercats to take difficult shots throughout the game, outscoring Maranatha in all but one quarter.
Faith had a slow start to the second half, allowing 21 third quarter points, but finished the game strong on an 18-0 run in the final ten minutes to win 82-40 over the Sabercats.
Katie Costello (19 pts, 13 reb) and Miriam Beenken (15 pts, 11 reb) led the Eagles with a double-double apiece, and all twelve available players scored in the victory
