Eagles Fall in Marshalltown
(Marshalltown, IA) - Faith women's basketball took on the Tigers from Marshalltown CC in a nonconference game on Tuesday.
The Eagles had a quick turnaround after just one practice back following Thanksgiving break, as they took on Marshalltown Community College in a tough matchup.
Faith struggled in the first quarter, only scoring 8 points compared to the home team's 14. While the Eagles managed to win the second and fourth quarters, they were not able to overcome the slow start and lost their first game of the season, 62-51.

Miriam Beenken pulled down a 14 point, 11 rebound double-double, Mikayla Jones led the team in assists with 5 of the Eagles' 15, and Katie Costello added 17 points and 9 rebounds.
