
Eagles Bounce Back Against Union
(Lincoln, NE) - Faith women's basketball took the road once more for a rematch against Union Adventist University.
Following a tough start to the semester, the Eagles looked to bounce back into the win column against Union.
Coming into the game down in numbers, the Eagles responded well to adjusted roles and positions and Faith followed up their early season win over the Warriors with another solid victory. Faith led from start to finish, out-rebounding their opponents by 32 and recording 24 assists on 35 made shots.
Katie Costello, Tshiya Keepers, Soleil Ashley, and Miriam Beenken all scored double-figures to combine for 56 of the teams 79 points. Kayla Stephens added 6 points, 5 steals, and 5 assists, and Aksana Chromy scored a career high 9 points off the bench for the Eagles. All available players saw the court, and the Eagles came home with a solid 79-44 victory and the season sweep over the Warriors.
