Women's Volleyball Signs Cooper
Ankeny, IA - Ellie Cooper, from Elkhart, IN, has committed to the Eagles Women’s Volleyball team, signing her letter of intent for the 2025 season.
Ellie is the daughter of Brian and Lisa Cooper and comes to the Eagles from the Goshen Homeschool team coached by Kathy Todd. Her senior year, Ellie led her team in kills and blocks as she closed out a successful career for the Blue Blazers, receiving multiple All-Conference and All-State awards in addition to one All-Star nod.
"Ellie is a strong outside or middle hitter. She does have the ability to also play at the middle or left side defensive positions." Coach Lanny Nihart shared about Ellie, "With graduations we will look to Ellie to provide us with a strong front row playing and fill in the gap of departed players. She will also be given the opportunity to earn her way as an all around player.
Ellie is looking forward to growing in Christ and building relationships while at Faith, and she hopes to bring a level of competitiveness and fun to the team.
Ellie will pursue a degree in Biblical Worldview while at Faith.
