(Joplin, MO) - The Eagles entered Pool Play set to face 3 of the best teams in the Nation with the goal of making the Nation Semifinals.

Faith returned to the NCCAA II National Tournament for the third time in two years, entering Pool B as the #7 seed. The Eagles faced tough competition as they competed against #2 Arlington, #3 Boyce, and #6 Pensacola over the course of two days.
Day One
The Eagles kicked off pool play against Arlington, who took the commanding 3-0 win. The Patriots gained early momentum in the match, winning the first set 25-15. Faith marched back to challenge their opponent, keeping the second set close but ultimately fell 25-22 and Arlington was able to take the third set 25-16 and win the match. Arlington would later go on to win the National Championship. Codie Wirges led the Eagles with 10 kills and 15 digs on day one of the tournament, while Victoria Nerem and Lainey Murphy recorded 14 and 11 assists respectively.
Day Two
Faith returned to action the next day against Boyce College, who took the 3 set victory over the Eagles 25-11, 25-20, 25-15. Throughout the match, Faith kept fighting but could not find the momentum they needed to challenge the #3 seeded Bulldogs. The Eagles finished their tournament run later that afternoon against Pensacola Christian College, competing well and ending the year on a bright note in the 3-1 loss. The Eagles came out strong, winning the first set 25-19 in a commanding victory over Pensacola. Although the secodn set didn't go their way and the Eagles fell 25-10, they fought hard and kept the final two sets close with set scores of 25-23 and 25-18. Codie Wirges once again led Faith with 15 kills, while Nerem and Murphy dished out 2=15 assists apiece. Maddie Hofmann dug the ball 21 times and the Eagles recorded 13 blocks as a team.
