Eagle's Fall on the Road to Iowa Rival
The Eagle’s went south on Tuesday to compete against Emmaus Bible College.
The Eagle's would go up to Dubuque shorthanded without point guard, Mikayla Jones due to sickness.
Emmaus came into the game strong. Shooting well, they found themselves up 16-12 at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter the Eagle's closed the lead to 28-22 at the half. The Eagle's needed some momentum in the third quarter, but couldn't find any. Both teams were in a scoring lull as Emmaus took the third 9-8. Keeping the game close and fighting hard to draw themselves to the lead, the Eagle's could not gain the traction that they needed. The Eagle's fell 40-48 to Emmaus.
