
Koplin Signs With Men's Soccer
Ankeny, IA - Josiah Koplin, from Ankeny, IA, has committed to the Eagles Men’s Soccer team, signing his letter of intent for the 2025 season.
Josiah Koplin is the son of Eddy and Lisa Koplin and comes to the Eagles from coach Brian Duax's team at Ankeny Centennial High School. Koplin and the Jaguars are currently 4-2 on the season, and 1-1 in Central Iowa Metro League play.
"Josiah has great technical skills and awareness of what everyone is doing on the field." Stated Coach Gary Backous, "He is an exceptional distributor of the ball and finisher in the final-third. Josiah is a part of a very good high school program at Ankeny Centennial that is preparing him well for playing at this level in the fall."
Josiah hopes to bring a good attitude and competitive spirit to the team while being a good example to those around him. He looks forward to investing in his time at Faith through meeting new people.
Josiah will pursue a two year Biblical Studies Degree while at Faith
