Eagles Avenge Early Season Loss

(Ankeny, IA) - Faith Men's Soccer took on Union in a rematch from their game earlier in the semester and were able to walk away with a solid victory over the Warriors.

Faith defeated Union 2-0, avenging their previous 3-2 road loss in September. The first half was tightly contested, with neither team finding the net until Andre Quintana scored in the final 30 seconds off an assist from Zachary Choi, and the Eagles took a one goal lead and all of the momentum into halftime.

Union increased their intensity in the second half, but Faith matched it and secured their second goal in the 81st minute when Parker Lundberg found the back of the net with an assist from Quintana. This victory was a big momentum boost for Faith as they approach their final regular-season games against MCCC competition.
