Coming off their first win of the season, Faith men's soccer headed into Thursday's match ready to keep building on their success.
The warriors struck early in the first half, scoring off of a PK and were able to carry the 1-0 lead into halftime. Faith stayed patient, however and evened the score with a well placed sliding shot from Jermaine Boyd, who has now scored 5 goals this season. The teams once again traded goals with Union striking first, and Parker Lundberg responding with a goal of his own. The Warriors scored one more time in the final minutes to seal the victory over the Eagles.
Faith returns home for one final tuneup before MCCC play begins next week.
Up Next: The Eagles return home for an exhibition game against Northwestern's JV squad on Saturday, September 14th at 4:00 PM.
