The Eagles took to the road for the first time this season as they competed against regional opponent North Central University.
Faith started out solid on the defensive end and neither team scored until 30 minutes in when the Rams converted on a penalty kick. The Eagles responded less than two minutes later as Andre Quintana found himself wide open for his first career goal and the teams headed into halftime tied 1-1. North Central continued to pressure the Eagles in the second half, and were able to add two more goals for a final score of 3-1. Enzo Pileggi recorded 10 saves on the day.
Although the Eagles lost, they provided 90 minutes of excellent pressure on the Rams offense to only allow 13 SOG out of 34 attempts.
Up Next: The Eagles will travel to Ellendale, ND for a regional match against Trinity Bible College on Monday, September 9th at 10:30 AM.
