DUBUQUE, Iowa—The Faith Eagles men's soccer team won its fifth game in its last six contests on Saturday with a double-digit scoring performance against Emmaus Bible College. With the 10-0 win, Faith improved its conference record to 6-2 and is now 9-4 overall.
Solo Sein recorded his second hat trick of the season, scoring four of the Eagles' ten goals. Three of those came in the first half as Faith built a commanding 6-0 lead before halftime. James Busenitz, Joshua Forgie, and Joseph Conable rounded out the first half scoring for the Eagles.
The second half began with another goal from Sein, his 11th of the season. Cody Hargis, Jared Conable, and Sam Carstensen got in on the action with the remainder of the goals as Faith outshot Emmaus 33-0.
The Eagles have completed their regular season and are ready for the conference tournament which will be held on their home turf this week. Faith's first game will be played on Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. If the Eagles advance to the championship game, it will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. If they lose, the consolation game will be held on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
