Eagle Teams Serve at Miracle League

Ankeny, IA - Grow. Serve. Compete - That's been the mantra of the Faith athletic department as the 2021 sesaons kick off. On Saturday, members of the 2021 men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, and women's volleyball teams spent time zeroing in on serving the Ankeny community through the Ankeny Miracle League program. Team members spent Saturday morning assisting the miracle league youth participants in three exciting games of Miracle League baseball.

The Eagle "Angel's in the Outfield" had the privilege of partnering up with the participants and helping them field, run the bases, and have an overall great time in the beautiful mid-August weather. "We were so excited to be able to get back on the field and spend time with the great young men and women participating in the Miracle League fall baseball league. We really missed not being able to serve last year - this is easily the highlight of our season each year!" noted athletic director Brian Fincham.
