It is an encouraging future for a young Eagles soccer team. The 2012 men's soccer team had ten starters that were either freshman or sophomores. It took the young Eagles a majority of the season to finally come together as a unit, but once they started playing well they were a force to deal with.
The season was full of challenges as the Eagles faced seven NCCAA II ranked or NAIA scholarship schools. Eight of their games this season were decided by one goal including three overtime matches. Faith ended the season fifth in the Midwest Christian College Conference regular season and tournament. They earned the conferences Sportsmanship Award. Sophomore Tim Jones was named 2nd Team All-Conference, while sophomore Aaron Jones and freshman Adam Jones were named to the 1st Team.
The Eagles were led in scoring by Adam Jones with nine goals and two assists. He was followed by freshman JJ Parkhurst who scored six goals with one assist and Aaron Jones finished the year with five goals. Senior goalkeeper Michael Craig recorded 137 saves and five shutouts. Aaron Jones, Adam Jones, Michael Craig, and sophomore Matt Brace were all named to the All-Region Team.
