
Waldrop Signs with Eagles
Renee Waldrop, from Centerville, IA, has committed to the Eagle's Women's Soccer team, signing her letter of intent for the 2023-2024 season.
Ankeny, IA – Renee Waldrop, from Centerville, IA, has committed to the Eagle's Women's Soccer team, signing her letter of intent for the 2023-2024 season.
Renee is the daughter of Blake and Melissa Waldrop and comes to the Eagles from coach Tony Kurimski's soccer team at Centerville High School. Renee was a key contributor to her team as a starting player for the Chief's, receiving her varsity letter her sophomore year of high school.
When asked what she is looking forward to the most while attending Faith, Renee said, "I'm really looking forward to playing soccer… I've met girls from the team in the past and they were very nice, welcoming, and easy to talk to!" Renee is also looking forward to making friends that really care about each other and their relationships with Christ.
"Renee will bring great character and work ethic to our team," noted coach Zack Barron. "Renee is a versatile player who played many positions in high school. This experience has given her a strong understanding of the game."
Renee will be pursuing a degree in Organizational Leadership while at Faith.
