
Murphy Signs Letter of Intent
Ankeny, IA – Caleb Murphy has committed to the Eagle's Cross Country team, signing his letter of intent for the 2023-2024 season.
Ankeny, IA – Caleb Murphy has committed to the Eagle's Cross Country team, signing his letter of intent for the 2023-2024 season.
Caleb is the son of Casey and AmyJo Murphy and comes to the Eagles from coach Bradley Amundson's team at West Fargo High School in West Fargo, ND. Caleb received his varsity letter and has also received an academic letter, is a part of National Honors Society, and was the GARBC Scholarship winner.
When asked what he is most looking forward to at Faith, Caleb said, "learning profound theology and preparing for a ministry career." He also hopes to bring positivity and a competitive spirit to the team. He is putting in a lot of work now that will prepare him to run well for the Eagles this fall.
"I am happy to have Caleb join our men's cross country team this fall!" notes coach Ryan Long. "He will be a great addition to the strong set of runners coming to campus this fall."
Caleb will be pursuing a degree in Pastoral Studies with an emphasis in Expository Preaching while at Faith.
