
Shaeffer Signs Letter of Intent
Ankeny, IA – Levi Shaeffer, of Fold du Lac, WI, has committed to the Eagle's men's basketball program, signing his letter of intent for the 2023-2024 season.
Levi is the son of Jeremy and Amber Shaeffer and comes to the Eagles from coaches Gregg Gumness, Logan Seibe, and Jeremy Shaeffer's high school team at Trinity Baptist School. Shaeffer has received two all-tournament awards, as well as one all-state, and one all-camp team award. During his last year with the Trinity Patriots, Levi has averaged 11.3 ppg, 4.4 rpg, and 3.8 apg.
When asked what he was looking forward to the most when coming to Faith, Levi said, "Learning more about business, growing closer to God, and competing at a higher level in sports!" He is excited to bring his enthusiasm, encouragement to the team while he is here growing in his basketball career.
"I first had the opportunity to get to know Levi during our summer camp," noted coach Brian Fincham. "I was immediately struck by his enthusiasm, work ethic, and positive attitude. I am thrilled the Lord has led him to Faith! Levi has good range and athleticism and I'm excited to help him take the next step in his athletic career! He will be a great addition to our team and he'll fit perfectly into our team culture. I'm looking forward to all the ways he will be able to contribute to our program over the next four years."
Levi will pursue a degree in Organizational Leadership while at Faith.
