
Voeller Signs Letter of Intent
Ankeny, IA – Shelby Voeller, of Prairie City, IA, has committed to the Eagle's women's volleyball team, signing her letter of intent for the 2023-2024 season.
Shelby is the daughter of Stuart and Emily Voeller and comes to Faith from coach Shaela Camp's team at Southwestern Community College. Prior to her studies at Southwestern Community College, Voeller played for coach Mike Vittetoe at Prairie-City, Monroe High School. Voeller was a 3 year varsity setter and received All-Conference her junior and senior years. Shelby was a huge contributor to her team. Not only was she leading the team on the court, but she also was an honor roll student all 4 years in high school and on the presidents list in college.
When asked what she is most looking forward to in attending Faith, Shelby said she is "excited to be surrounded by good community and culture." She hopes to be "a valuable addition to the team and to be an active leader."
Coach Lanny Nihart is "excited to be signing Shelby as a member of our volleyball team. Shelby has the skills to play every position, provide setting, and serving options. Her previous college experience will allow her to quickly adjust to our level of play including NAIA, NCAA Division III, and NCCAA Division II opponents."
Shelby will pursue a 2 Year Biblical Studies degree while at Faith.
