
Boldt and Fritz Sign with Eagles
Ankeny, IA – Emma Boldt, of Nowthen, Minnesota, and Eliana Fritz, of Prior Lake, Minnesota have committed to the Eagle women's soccer program, signing their letters of intent for the 2023-2024 season.
Emma Boldt is the daughter of Bernard and Nicole Boldt, and comes to the Eagles from coach Analey Satre's high school team at St. Francis Christian School. Boldt has played center mid throughout her soccer career and received the MVP team award two years in a row.
When asked about her decision to attend Faith, Emma said "In looking ahead, I'm most excited to be in an environment where I know I will be saturated in God's Word. I am also excited to play the sport I am passionate about, and pursue the major of my choice all with a biblical viewpoint." Her desire is to bring a coachable spirit and a skill set that will complement the team.
"Emma will be a big addition in the midfield for us, she will come in with high character and a solid base of soccer experience. We think Emma will help add technical skill, strength, and a strong work rate at center mid. We are looking forward to seeing Emma and Eliana team up in midfield together" noted Eagles head coach Zack Barron.
Emma will be pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a middle school endorsement while at Faith.
Eliana Fritz is the daughter of Brandon and Natalie Fritz, and comes to the Eagles from coach Laura McKinney's high school team at Prior Lake Christian Academy. Fritz has played defense and midfield throughout her soccer career, received the MVP award, and led her team as the captain her junior year of high school.
When asked about her decision to attend Faith, Eliana said "I am looking forward to being surrounded by other believers and growing in my walk with God. I am excited to see where He will lead me in the future." Her desire is to bring energy and enthusiasm to the team.
"We are excited to add another Fritz to our soccer family. We believe Eliana will bring a strong work ethic along with ball playing ability. We think she will add a desire to drive the team forward in the center mid for us. We are looking forward to seeing Eliana and Emma team up in midfield together" noted Eagles head coach Zack Barron.
Eliana will be pursuing a degree in Elementary Education while at Faith.
