Rohde Signs Letter of Intent
Ankeny, IA - Brian Rohde, from Nevada, IA, has committed to the Eagles Cross Country and Track and Field teams, signing his letter of intent for the 2025-2026 season.
Brian is the son of Mark and Lisa Rohde and comes to the Eagles from coach James Mills' team at Nevada High School. Brian was a standout athlete for the Cubs, earning his spot at the State meet three times in track & field, and once for cross country. He received the team Courage award (cross country), and team Strength award (track & field), and was an All-Conference runner for Nevada High.
"I am excited to have Brian on campus at Faith this fall!" Head coach Ryan Long shared, "He is a fine young man and a strong runner with many athletic accomplishments under his belt. I believe Brian will quickly work his way into the lead position for the Faith XC team and will be an encouragement to the rest of the team who will be right on his heels!"
Brian is excited to be an invested member of both the cross country and track teams, and is hopeful to fill whatever role each team might need. He shared, " I'm looking forward to being part of a school and team that have their eyes on God, especially in a time when student's morals/values tend to become lost."
Brian will pursue a degree in Organizational Leadership while at Faith.
