
Blevins and Hulinsky Place Top 5, Women Win Last Chance Meet
(Seneca, MO) - Faith cross country ran in their final regular season race on Saturday with exciting results.
The Eagles soared in Saturday's Last Chance Meet, as the two teams posted 4 top 10 finishes, 3 PRs, and the Women's team placed first overall.
Carlie Blevins (21:34.0) and Becca Hulinsky (22:47.0) both finished top five, and earned medals on the day for their excellent performances. Lydia Mueller added the team's third top 10 perfomance, coming in 6th place with a time of 23:55. Elizabeth Beenken (27:22.0) and Alees Stephens (27:31.0) rounded out the team scoring for the Eagles. Jenessa Anderson (29:15.0) and Vanya Kliewer (30:47.0) both posted PRs during the race, and TIna Lange came close to her season best with a time of 30:20. The Eagles earned thefirst place finish for the first time this season as they look ahead to Nationals.
Owen Festler led on the men's side, setting a new PR with a top 10 finish and a time of 32:18.0. Ethan Smith (35:46.0), Ben Hackley (36:07.0), and Andrew Hackley (39:57.0) all posted good times as they competed in their final tune-up before the National meet.
