On Saturday, the Eagles rallied together, and flipped the script on Friday night's performance against Mount Mary, earning a spirited 3-1 win to finish the weekend on a cheerful note.
After a 17-17 tie in the first set, the Eagles responded with an 8-1 run to win the opening frame, 25-18. Faith used that momentum to catapult them to another win in set two, 25-19.
Faith jumped to a 13-9 lead in the third set, and it looked like they were going to deliver the knockout punch, but Mount Mary rallied for a 25-19 win to take the match to a fourth set.
In the fourth set, the score was tied twice, but the Eagles never trailed. A pair of kills by Alicia Smith helped to seal the victory late in the match for Faith.
