Choi Commits to Eagle's Soccer
Ankeny, IA - Zachary Choi, from Prior Lake, MN, has committed to the Eagle’s Men’s Soccer Team, signing his letter of intent for the 2024 season.
Zachary is the son of Sam and Sarah Choi and comes to the Eagles from coach Andy Rogers' team at Prior Lake Christian Academy. Zachary has been a key contributor scoring 21 goals with 18 assists for the 2023 season. He received 2nd Team All-Conference in the 2021 season and 1st Team All-Conference in 2022 and 2023, as well as All-Tournament in 2023.
"Zachary has been on our radar as a top recruit for many years so we are very excited to finally have him join the team," noted Eagle's head coach Gary Backous. "He is a great midfielder with the vision and technical ability to dominate games this fall."
Zachary is looking forward to playing at a higher level, competing with and against older and more experienced players that will push him to get better. Zach is going to bring a genuine love for the game to his team next season.
He will pursue a degree in Biblical Studies while at Faith.
