On Saturday afternoon, the Eagles welcomed Providence University College, a team that has been at the top of the NCCAA the past two seasons, to Pyche Field for a North Region match.
The Pilots wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, scoring two quick goals in the first ten minutes of play. Faith settled in and made several attempts of their own, but moved into halftime trailing 3-0. The second half progressed in a similar fashion, as the Eagles could not find many scoring opportunities. Providence added two more goals in the final ten minutes, and walked away with the 5-0 victory over Faith.
Megan Yuan recorded 8 saves in her first start in Goal.
After the loss, Faith moves to 1-1-0 on the season as they prepare to host Blackburn College on Monday, September 2nd at 2:00 p.m. on Pyche Field.
