Track and Field Season Underway for Eagles
Eagle's competed in the Central Dutch Invitational.
It was a beautiful day for a trip to Pella, IA to participate in the Central Dutch Invitational. It was the Eagle's first meet of the season and the sun was shining with just a slight breeze. The Eagle's had great conditions to compete.
The long jump was the first event for the Eagle's with Hannah Wernli setting a new Faith record in the women's long jump! The next event for the Eagle's was the men's high jump. Andy Hecker jumped his personal best of 1.8m, just shy of the 1.85m national qualifying height.
Eagle runner's also performed well, with David Loveall running one of his better times in the 1500m run at 4:28.
In the throwing events, Evan Van Der Molen threw 35.29m, bringing him just shy of the national qualifying distance of 38m.
