ANKENY, Iowa—The Faith Eagles won their second game in a row on Thursday with an impressive 83-63 triumph over Spurgeon College. The 20-point win was the highest margin of victory this season for Faith, who is peaking at just the right time with conference tournament play beginning next week.

The Eagles took care of business on both ends of the court, putting together their most complete game of the year, shooting 51.6% from the floor (8-of-21 from three point distance), and forcing Spurgeon into 24 turnovers.

For one of the rare times this season, the Eagles are fully healthy, and it showed in the win over Spurgeon as Jayce Goergen (17), Jared Pearson (14), and Kalab Sidlinger (12) combined for 43 points, while the Eagles bench chipped in for 27 points in a well-rounded effort. The Eagles outperformed the Knights in nearly every statistical category.

With the win, Faith improved to 8-12 on the year. The regular season concludes tonight with a road game at Central Christian College of the Bible at 6 p.m.
