Yuan Signs with Eagle Women's Soccer
Megan Yuan, from Ankeny, IA, has committed to the Eagle’s Women’s Soccer team, signing her letter of intent for the 2024 season.
Ankeny, IA- Megan is the daughter of Steven and Nancy Yuan and comes to the Eagles from coach Samuel Behrens' team at Ankeny Centennial High School.
When asked what she is most looking forward to while attending Faith she said, "I'm looking forward to deepening my relationship with Christ, continuing friendships that I have here already, building new ones, and being able to play on an athletic team with a mission to glorify God in everything they do… the God-honoring and relationship-focused atmosphere at Faith and specifically in the soccer program is something that I have been looking forward to becoming a part of for several years!"
Megan looks to bring a strong presence in the back line, specifically in the net. She is also looking to bring enthusiasm, and a desire to edify her teammates to bring further glory to God.
"We are excited to add Megan to the 2024 recruiting class," stated coach Zack Barron. "She is a dynamic athlete in goal, with some outstanding shot-stopping abilities."
Goalie coach Karen Javaux is "excited to have Megan play for us! She will bring a lot of excitement and knowledge of the game to the team."
Megan will pursue a degree in Organizational Leadership while at Faith.
