Hofmann Signs with Eagle Volleyball
Maddie Hofmann, from Aledo, IL, has committed to the Eagle’s Women’s Volleyball team, signing her letter of intent for the 2024 season.
Ankeny, IA- Maddie is the daughter of Brad and Jenny Hofmann and comes to the Eagles from coach Lext Strange's team at Mercer County High School. Maddie has been a key contributor to her team. Maddie has set her school's record for aces in a match and is on her way to 500 career digs this season. Not only has she led her team from the court, but also in the classroom. Maddie has been All-Conference All-Academic and sits third in her class, participating in National Honor Society and FCA Leader.
When asked what she is looking forward to the most while attending Faith, Maddie said, "Meeting new friends, catching up with old friends.., growing in my faith, playing volleyball, and supporting the other athletic teams." Maddie is looking to bring a good attitude, hard work ethic, communication, and her best 110% of the time.
"We are excited for Maddie to join our 2024 team," stated coach Lanny Nihart. "She brings a wealth of experience and talent as a defensive specialist. Maddie has played at a high level of competition and will add intensity and performance to our team. Maddie not only competes at a high level, but has excellent character on and off the court.'
Maddie is excited to attend and play at Faith and the Eagles are equally excited to have her.
Maddie will pursue a degree in Elementary Education while at Faith.
