Anderson, Brown, and Jones Compete Well at Nationals
By Coach Ryan Long
The Faith cross country team traveled to Joplin, Missouri, this past weekend for the NCCAA National Cross Country Meet. The temperature was perfect for racing, but the wind gusts and hills added some challenges to the event.
For the men, junior Josiah Brown finished 19th with a personal best time of 30:15. For the women, freshman Laney Jones ran a personal best time of 22:38, placing 18th, and Emily Anderson finished the challenging course in 35th place with a time of 25:11!
All of the athletes gave their all during the race and represented Christ well as they gave Him the glory for the ability to run and compete for Faith.
Thanks for your prayers and support throughout the season!
