2020 Cross Country Preview
There will be a cast of new faces as the Eagles participate in their first cross country event of the season on Friday. The Grand View Viking Invitational will be held at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny. No spectators are being allowed.
The Eagles return just two runners from a year ago (Chelsea Brown and Josiah Brown). Newcomers include Emily Anderson, Isaiah Crute, Laney Jones, and Zachary Lobb. Coach Long is anxious to see what his team can do in a season with just three meets scheduled due to COVID-19. Faith runs just once in September and twice in October at the Trent Smith Invitational and the Last Chance Meet in Joplin, Missouri. The National Meet is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, in Point Lookout, Missouri.
