Lady Eagles Return Eight to the Pitch
The Faith Baptist Bible College women's soccer team has their sights held high as they look forward to the upcoming 2016 season. Coach Jack Arneson, who is beginning his third year with the women's soccer team, is excited about the eight returners and six new players to fill the roster. Among the returners are captain Rebekah Stilwell, as well as Rebecca Reinertson, Anna Cleghorn, Audra Worley, Abi Stilwell, Laura Christenson, Madison Morton, and Rachel Kramer. All are eagerly looking forward to playing for Faith for another season.
"The returning players provide a strong leadership presence on and off the field. We are extremely grateful for the upper classmen we have – they have already brought an energy to the team that makes for a successful season" states Coach Jack Arneson.
There are six new players who have also proved to be a great addition to the team. They are all working hard and are excited to be part of the Faith women's soccer team.
One key position that needed to be filled was that of goalie. "Sophomore Krissy Nelson is ready for the challenge of being the Lady Eagles last line of defense. We are excited to see what she can bring to the team" remarked Coach Arneson.
Faith will face their first opponent, North Central University on the road, on Tuesday, September 6th.
