Eagles Set Personal Records at Trent Smith Invitational
MASON CITY, Iowa—Faith runners battled the wind and cold, but overall good course conditions as they participated in the Trent Smith Invitational in Mason City, Iowa, on Friday, October 11.
Coach Ryan Long was not expecting great times due to the wind, but said everyone ran extremely well and each runner set a new personal record.
"I was impressed by the outstanding effort and how everyone responded with a positive attitude in the midst of difficult weather conditions," said Long.
Katlyn Holaday had the most impressive performance of the meet, finishing in 18th place out of 92 runners with a time of 20:28.20.
The Eagles head to Joplin, Missouri on October 26 for their final meet of the regular season. Coach Long and the Eagle runners appreciate your prayers as they travel and wrap up their 2019 season in early November.
