Holbert Signs Letter of Intent
Ankeny, IA – Audrey Holbert, of Marana, Arizona, has committed to the Eagle women's volleyball program, signing her letter of intent virtually Wednesday for the 2021-2022 season.
Audrey is the daughter of Barry and Shirley Holbert and comes to the Eagle's from coach Michael and Natalia Owens and Kevin Marts' club program – Southern Arizona Volleyball Academy.
When asked about her decision to attend Faith, Audrey said "I am most looking forward to the atmosphere. Over the course of my visits to the campus, as well as interacting with faculty and students, I have been impressed with the atmosphere of the love for Christ, genuine love for one another, and discipleship. These characteristics were especially striking on the volleyball team, through the coaches' attitudes of love for not just the game but also for each individual player. I look forward to becoming a part of the family that is Faith."
"We are excited to have Audrey be part of our 2021 roster. Given her experience, Audrey will provide us skill and all-around capacity in our rotations. Audrey has the ability to be productive at any of the court non-setter positions," noted Eagles head coach Lanny Nihart.
Audrey will be pursuing a degree in Organizational Leadership while at Faith.
