Blevins Signs to Run with the Eagles
Ankeny, IA - Carlie Blevins, from Duluth, MN, has committed to the Eagle’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams, signing her letter of intent for the 2024-2025 season.
Carlie is the daughter of Jeff and Sharie Blevins and comes to the Eagles from coach Lowel Harnell's cross-country team and coach Glen Gilderman's track and field team.
Carlie has been an outstanding athlete for the Proctor Rails. In her cross-country career, she has been a 2x state participant, a 3x All-Conference selection, a Team Captain, and a 2021 conference championship team member.
Carlie has also been successful on the track. During her track and field career, Carlie set the school record for the 5,000m, 800m, and 400m races. She was also part of the school record-holding 4x800m relay team and was a Team Captain.
Not only is Carlie a decorated athlete, but she is also an outstanding student. She was an Academic All-State selection for 4 years, and an Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award recipient. She received a choir Superior Solo rating all 4 years and was the Choir MVP for 4 years.

Carlie is excited to grow in her faith and meet new people while at school. She hopes to contribute to the teams with her positive attitude and competitive spirit. She is excited about what the future holds for her at Faith and can't wait to run for the Eagles!
Carlie will pursue a degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement.
