Eagle's Receive #2 Seed for National Tournament
ANKENY, Iowa - After an exciting regional championship game which saw the Faith women's soccer team advance to the NCCAA DII National Championship 5-4 on pk's, the Eagles have been selected as the #2 seed at the tournament (full release here). Faith will face the champions from the Mideast Region - Grace Christian University. A win in that game will send them to the national championship where they will face the winner of #1 Bob Jones University and #4 Randall University.
The national championship will take place November 21-23. The Eagles will have a practice, participate in a Christian Service Project, and attend the Kick-Off dinner on Thursday, November 21, before lacing up their boots for their semifinal match on Friday, November 22, at 2:30 PM. The Austin-Tindall Sports Complex in Kissimmee, FL, is the site of the tournament and the Eagles semifinal match will take place on field 5.
