Eagles Sign Brower for Men's Soccer
Ankeny, IA - Micah Brower, from Saint Francis, MN, has committed to the Eagles Men’s Soccer team, signing his letter of intent for the 2025 season.
Micah is the son of Steve and Heather Brower and comes to the Eagles from coaches Caleb Dickens and Bernie Boldt's team at Saint Francis Christian School. Micah contributed to the Patriot's successful year with 7 goals and 4 assists on the season in addition to being named first team all-conference. The Patriots finished the 2024 season with a record of 14-2, winning the Tier 1 Soccer Tournament Championship.
Micah shared that he is looking forward to being in the environment that Faith provides as well as the people and friends that he'll meet here. Related to soccer he added, "I plan to hustle a lot and be a good, reliable player."
Coach Gary Backous stated, "Micah has a very good combination of athleticism, composure on the ball, and mental toughness. I am excited for him to fill his older brother's shoes now that Grant has graduated after starting for the last four years. Micah has many of the same strengths as his brother and will hopefully help fill the gap in defense his graduation created."
Micah will pursue a degree in Nursing while at Faith.
