Wierck Signs Letter of Intent
Ankeny, IA - Cade Wierck, from Ankeny, IA, has committed to the Eagle’s Men’s Basketball Team, signing his letter of intent for the 2024-2025 season.
Cade is the son of Andy and Molly Wierck and comes to the Eagles from coach Jay Nihart's team at Ankeny Christian Academy. During his high school career, he has 840 points, 445 rebounds, and 110 blocks. Cade also earned 1st Team All-Conference twice as well as Tournament MVP. Looking to make the same kind of impact on the court at Faith, Cade is excited to grow closer to God while learning more about what God's plan is for his life.
"I am very excited to have Cade join our program! Cade has a great ability to play inside out and stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting. He'll also add some much-needed length to our team which will help us on both ends of the court. Coach Nihart's teams play with high effort and intensity and Cade's experience in that program will be a big asset as he joins our team," noted Eagle's head coach Brian Fincham. "He had a great senior year, and I'm looking forward to him bringing his on-the-court success to our program. More importantly, Cade loves the Lord and I am excited to see him grow with us during his career."
