MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota—The Faith Eagles men's basketball team concluded a two-game road trip to the Twin Cities with a 75-56 loss to North Central University Saturday evening. The loss marked the fourth consecutive defeat for the Eagles (2-4).
The Eagles kept things close throughout much of the first half before the North Central Rams closed on a 16-6 run to stretch the lead to 19 at halftime with some torrid shooting from three-point distance (6-14).
North Central continued its hot shooting in the second half, stretching their lead to as many as 19. The Rams connected on 42% of their three-point tries for the game (11-26) and had 11 players score in the contest. For the Eagles, freshman guard Micah Stinson led the way with 12 points.
Faith returns to action on Tuesday with another road game at Emmaus in Dubuque at 6:00 p.m. Emmaus is searching for its first win of the season (0-9).
