Cross Country Sends Entire Team to Nationals
ANKENY, Iowa—The Faith Eagles cross country team will be competing in Point Lookout, Missouri, this Saturday for the NCCAA National Meet. All six of the Eagles runners qualified for the event.
Katlyn Holaday looks to capitalize off her best performance of the season two weeks ago with a time of 20:09, which was the fifth-best time in the nation.
Chelsea Ratliff set her best mark at the Trent Smith Invitational with a time of 21:47.
Charity Baker made the most of the Last Chance Meet, qualifying in the final race of the season with a time of 24:26.
Michael Sciranko had the top time of the season for the men with a mark of 29:24.
Josiah Brown's top time was 30:30 at the Trent Smith Invitational.
Ryan Hughes finished the regular season of his senior year with a personal best of 30:46.
Faith runners were recognized in chapel on Thursday morning by Dr. Jim Tillotson and sent off with a word of prayer in front of the student body. Race time is set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
