Faith Eagles 2018 Cross Country Schedule Released
ANKENY, Iowa--The Faith Cross Country team has released the 2018 schedule which culminates in the NCCAA National XC Meet.
This season, the team has the opportunity to qualify to compete in the national championships at the College of the Ozarks near Branson, MO. This is a new venue for the national meet, and the team is excited to compete closer to home than in years past.
The season kicks off on August 31st as the team travels to Pella to compete in the Central Invitational, followed by the Les Duke Invitational in Grinnell the next week.
Faith Head XC Coach Ryan Long had this to say about the upcoming season:
"I am really excited for the start of this season. We will miss our graduates from last year, but we have several new talented runners joining the team this year. One of the highlights of the season is our home meet, the Faith Invitational, on 9/15, which is a great national qualifying meet. Please pray for health and strength as the team works hard to get ready over the coming weeks leading up to our first meet."
