Cross Country Preps to Hit the Course
The men's and women's cross country teams have been logging many miles during the preseason weeks, preparing for our first meet at CCCB in Missouri. We have had a couple of injuries pop up, so we have done some of our training this week on the bike and elliptical machine.
Junior Dewey Rapson is our men's team captain, and has been fighting a nagging knee injury for the past few weeks. Thanks for praying with us that it would heal quickly!
Sophomore Wendy Busenitz is our women's team captain this year. She set the Faith cross country record last year as a freshman, and is looking forward to a great year this year. She is also dealing with an arch strain that showed up earlier this week, so please pray for Wendy also.
The women's team is rounded out by a couple of sophomores who are running cross country for the first time at Faith this year. Taylor Ballard and Kaitlyn Peters are both working hard and looking forward to a great season.
Please pray for each one as they run and glorify God with the talents he has given them.
