England Improves, Currently Third in Nation

The men's and women's cross country teams competed in their second meet of the season on Friday at the Grand View University course in Des Moines.  It was great to have a large group of students and staff from Faith there to cheer the team on...thank you everyone!  The course was hilly and difficult, and the wind was unforgiving, however, everyone did a great job.  Kevin England improved his best time of the season to 29:26...14 seconds faster than a week ago.

 

Kevin England is currently ranked 3rd nationally in the NCCAA standings, and Freshman Dewey Rapson is ranked 24th!  The team will be off next weekend and will be using that time to prepare for their next meet at Wartburg College on October 4th.
