Grandview's Wolfe to Play for Eagles
Des Moines, IA – Faith Baptist Bible College Head Women's Volleyball Coach Lanny Nihart is pleased to announce the signing of Emily Wolfe of Grandview Park Baptist for the 2014 season. Wolfe is the first member to sign for the Eagle's 2014 recruiting class.
Emily, a 5'7" OH, comes to Faith a decorated high school athlete. She was an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection her sophomore year, a 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All District, and Honorable Mention All-State her junior year, and a 1st Team All-Conference selection her senior year. Her senior season, the Defenders finished 28-11 and she averaged 2.4 kills per set and 2.5 digs per set. Wolfe was 69-37 during her career under Grandview Park head coach Matt Thompson. Emily was also selected as the 2014 Grandview Park Baptist Female Athlete of the Year. In addition to volleyball, Emily was a letter winner in basketball, softball, and track, where she holds the school record in the 100m hurdles.
Emily is the daughter of Tim and Margaret Wolfe. She will be seeking a degree in Elementary Education while at Faith.
