The Lady Eagles played a tough game on the road at Grace University (Omaha, NE) on Tuesday, October 24. Grace's experience on the turf, with their short, quick passes, gave them an advantage over the Eagles. Faith played hard to keep Grace scoreless until 35 minutes into the game when GU scored back-to-back goals to give themselves a 2-0 lead going into the halftime break.
The Eagles came out strong in the second half, and Deni St. Lawrence was able to get a goal off an assist from Abi Stilwell just five minutes into the second half. Grace responded with two more goals to win the game 4-1. The Eagles put together many good plays but were unable to capitalize on them, as several shots hit the crossbar or GU's goalie was able to snatch the ball. This match brings Faith to the end of their regular season play. The Eagles are now preparing for their regional semi-final match up on November 3 in Dubuque, Iowa. They will go up against Providence University College (Canada) at 9:30 AM.
