The Red Devils came out firing shots right from the start of the game and managed to outshoot the Lady Eagles 16-2 in the first half. Eureka continued to press and were able to keep possession for a majority of the first half. Eureka's first goal of the match came at the 38 minute mark in the first half. Eureka would extend their lead to 2-0 right before the halftime horn sounded.
The second half was a different story as the Eagles defense woke up. The Eagles allowed only nine shots in the entire second half while creating a few more chances for themselves. Eureka would score again three minutes into the second half to extend their lead to 3-0. Holly Shepard would put one away for the Lady Eagles on a nice solo effort in the 70th minute.
