The Faith Baptist Bible College women's basketball team travelled to Manhattan, Kansas to play conference opponent Manhattan Christian College. Manhattan is currently ranked #5 in the NCCAA D2. Faith lost the game 34-72. Faith then travelled to Haviland, Kansas to play conference opponent Barclay College. Faith lost to Barclay 37-65. Faith is now 0-3 on the year.
The Lady Eagles will continue to try to figure things out as the season continues. With new teammates, and a young squad, Faith's biggest challenge is finding some offensive continuity within the system of play. One bright spot early on has been freshman Laura Garwick who scored a season high 14 points on Saturday. Junior Kelsey Grider had a total of 14 blocked shots in the two games.
Faith will be hosting AFLBS on Tuesday night, November 19th. The game tips off at 6:00 PM.
