HAVILAND, Kansas—The Eagles' offense came back to life in the first round of the Midwest Christian College Conference Tournament with a convincing 4-0 win over Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas.
After struggling the last six games to score, Cole Glanzer got the Eagles on the board early in the first half, giving Faith the lead at 1-0. Isaac Mosher added a second goal off a penalty kick midway through the first half, giving the Eagles their first two-goal lead in six games.
Following the halftime break, the Eagles added two more goals—another from Glanzer, and one from Scot Iler, his first of the season. Faith cruised to a 4-0 victory and advanced to the semifinal round where they will face Manhattan Christian College on Friday at 6:30 p.m. The Eagles lost to Manhattan Christian, 3-1 the first game of the season.
If the Eagles win Friday night, they will play in the conference championships at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. If they lose, they would play for third place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
