Men's Soccer Serves at Boy's Home
On Wednesday, September 23rd the Faith men's soccer team traveled to the Boy's State Training School for juvenile offenders in Eldora, IA to put on a soccer camp. The soccer players were able to work one-on-one with participants for just over an hour as they practiced a number of skills before ending with a full-field scrimmage where the Faith players mixed with the students to put their skills to the test. After spending time on the field, team co-captain Jason Scheps was able to share the Gospel with them. "It was a great experience all the way around as the guys were able to use soccer as a tool for ministry," said Coach Backous.
