About Brian:

Brian joined the athletic staff in 2001 as an assistant women's basketball coach. After three seasons as an assistant, Brian became the head women's basketball coach. Following a three year stint as the head women's coach, Brian took over the men's program where he has served as the head coach since 2007. From 2017 to 2019, Brian resumed duties as the interim head women's basketball coach while continuing his duties as the head men's basketball coach. Brian is currently the Athletic Director at Faith. He graduated from Faith in 2001 with a B.S. in Local Church Ministries, and received his master's degree in Sport Management from Missouri Baptist University in 2013.

While at Faith as a student-athlete, Brian played basketball and soccer. During his basketball career, he was a 1,000 point scorer, an NCCAA DII North Central All-Region selection, and a MCCC All-Conference selection. Brian has been selected as both the men's ('07-'08, '10-'11, '19-'20) and women's ('05-'06) Region Coach of the Year. He was also awarded the NCCAA DII National Coach of the Year for men's basketball in 2020. He is married to his wife Sara. They currently live in Ankeny, Iowa with their three children (Logan, Morgan, Tyson).
