MOBERLY, Missouri—Nathan Keck pumped in 27 points on 11-of-13 shooting Friday night against Central Christian College of the Bible, but it was not enough as the Eagles gave up a season-high 106 points to the Saints in a 106-89 loss on the road.
Central Christian shot a blistering 72.2 percent from the floor in the first half (7-of-13 from three) to build a comfortable 62-38 lead at halftime. Andre Johnson came off the bench for the Saints and was a perfect 7-of-7 from the floor for 17 first-half points. He finished the game with a team-high 21 points.
The Eagles outscored the Saints in the second half, but it was much too little, too late. Faith had five players in double figures, led by Keck's 27 points, followed by Noah Boyer with 12, Jayce Goergen with 12, Kalab Sidlinger with 12, and Tanner Van Beek with 10.
